I'm a graphic designer, digital content creator, UI/UX specialist, web & app product designer, interaction pro, font collector, illustrator, americano drinker, south paw and goofy footer.
My dad was a pioneer in the computer art & design world (in the 80's), which exposed me to the creative side of computer technology as a young kid. So it was no surprise I started doing animation demos at corporate trade shows by 11 years old — A genius sales technique by my dad, but I was just happy earning money to buy skateboards.
Down the road, when I finally accepted becoming a pro skater, surfer or snowboarder was not my future, I naturally felt the pull back to design and technology. I went on to graduate from S.F. State University with what was one of the first offered digital design degrees. I then cut my teeth at various high-end, fast-paced design agencies in San Francisco, Marin County and San Diego.
From there, I founded a digital agency located in Portland, Oregon. Our team grew fast and furious over the next decade, working on large-scale projects for Nike, Qualcomm, Zumiez, Smith Optics, Visa, Intel, Habana Labs, SORAA, etc.
In 2024, after 24 years of burning the creative candle from both ends, I chose to step away from the non-stop agency grind. Today, you can find me in my backyard studio working on a design project, or depending on the season, skating the backyard mini-ramp or snowboarding with my wife and son.
